What is a TEDx Salon?

A TEDx Salon is a smaller, more intimate TEDx event designed to keep our community engaged between our larger events. Unlike our main TEDxManitouSprings events, which often span an entire day and feature more speakers and longer talks, a TEDx Salon is a shorter event (2-3 speakers) with shorter talks (5-8 minutes in length) centered on a core theme or topic.

Will you make yourself available for all coaching sessions and events?

• We may ask to virtually interview finalists for one of our speaker spots. • We strive to create a supportive and unforgettable experience for our speakers. So you can feel confident and prepared when delivering your talk on the TEDx stage, we provide free speaker coaching that is required for you to engage in leading up to the main event. Your coach will work with you on the development of your talk to ensure it meets TEDx standards. • You must be able to travel to Colorado Springs to be at the event in-person. We are not accepting virtual talks for this event.
